Budtender

We are looking to employ a knowledgeable and experienced retail sales associate (“Budtender”) to support customers in selecting suitable cannabis products. The responsibilities of the Budtender include greeting and welcoming customers, informing the manager of customer complaints and operational issues, and sharing firsthand experiences of cannabis products to address customer questions. You should also be able to answer customers’ questions and needs regarding the different products available and different methods of consumption.

To be a successful Budtender, you should keep up with evolving cannabis laws to maintain legal compliance. Ultimately, an outstanding Budtender should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchase.

• Ensure that the dispensary is always clean and well-organized.
• Greet customers and treat all customers with kindness and respect.
• Review and maintain inventory data.
• Ensure store is properly stocked and well-maintained.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Learn and comply with opening and closing, and safety/security-related standard operating procedures.
• Properly use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system; accurate and timely data entry of customer profiles in the POS system.
• Understand and implement customer loyalty programs.
• Keep abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industrytrends through continuing education and research.
• Participate in company education.
• Handle cash in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
• Correctly package products.
• Verify every single customer’s age through proper identification and any other method company may require from time-to-time.
